Several Judges’ Posts Vacant in Orissa High Court
The Orissa High Court has a sanctioned strength of 33 judges, comprising 24 permanent judges and nine additional judges.
However, several judicial posts are currently lying vacant in the High Court. The transfer recommendations come at a time when the availability of judges and the filling of vacant posts remain important issues for the functioning of the court.
